Acciona Energia signs 10-year PPA with Interxion

Acciona Energia has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) to supply more than 65 GWh annually to Interxion's three data centers in Spain for a period of ten years.

The agreement includes the additional supply of electricity reserved for a new data center Interxion is constructing in Madrid, as well as for its campus in the Spanish capital, to handle an increase in demand.

Interxion has signed the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact as part of its sustainability initiative. The goal of this agreement is to achieve climate neutrality for data centers by 2030.
