Bluefield Solar Income Fund Ltd has acquired two 40 MW battery energy storage projects in England for a total of GBP4.5 million (US$5.66 million) from Green Hedge Energy UK Limited.
The deal incorporates the development rights, grid connection costs, and the leasehold of land for the two 40 MW battery storage projects located in Derbyshire and Worcestershire.
The projects have been approved for construction that is set to start before the end of 2022.
