The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has extended support to the 56 MW wind farm project in Zelechowo village in Poland promoted by Israeli independent power producer Energix Renewables Energy Ltd through a PLN144 million (US$32.99 million) loan.
The loan financing covers half of the investment needed for the development, construction, and operation of the project. The wind farm will have 6 turbines that can generate enough energy to offset up to 96,000 tonnes of carbon emission annually.
Commercial lender mBank SA will also provide support to the project.
