EDF Renewables wins approval for 225 MW wind project in Moray

EDF Renewables has been authorized to build the 225 MW Clash Gour onshore wind project and 50 MW energy storage system in the Scottish Highlands in the UK, in collaboration with Force9 Energy. 

Clash Gour wind farm in Moray, close to Forres, will consist of 48 turbines with the ability to power 135,000 average houses per year once commissioned. 

Under a joint development agreement with Force9 Energy, Clash Gour Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary of EDF Renewables UK, is developing the project. However, EDF Renewables is still set to construct, own, and manage the wind farm.
