SSE Renewables, a unit of energy company SSE Plc, has combined its Berwick Back and Marr Bank offshore wind projects, formerly called Seagreen 2 and 3, into one mega project- Berwick Bank Wind Farm. The generating capacity of a wind farm is up to 4.1 GW.

The project will be built in the outer Firth of Forth, about 40 km from the East Lothian coast in Scotland, the UK. Once operational, the offshore wind farm is expected to power up to 5 million households per year.

The construction is expected to commence by 2024.
