Suzlon Wind Energy BH, a unit of Suzlon Wind Energy A/S, has submitted a request for the issuance of an environmental permit to the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, for the construction of the 25.2 MW Ivan Sedlo wind farm in Hadzici, Bosnia.
The deadline for submitting comments and suggestions on the Request is 15 days from the date of publication on the website of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
Suzlon Wind Energy has modified the planned number of turbines to five with the same total capacity of 25 MW.
In 2018, Suzlon Wind Energy BH has signed a 30-year concession contract with Sarajevo Canton Government for the construction and operation of the EUR million (US$35.4million) project. The concession contract can be renewed for up to 15 years.
Suzlon Wind Energy BH was initially planned to start the construction works on the 25.2 MW Ivan Sedlo wind farm in 2019.
