Enel Green Power is the Enel Group company entirely dedicated to the development and management of energy generation from renewable sources at a global level, with a presence in Europe, the American continent and Africa.
EGP's average load factor (that is, the ratio between net annual production and the maximum production that can theoretically be obtained over one year, resulting from the nominal MW multiplied by 8,760 hours) is about 40 percent, higher than that of its competitors, due to the large share of geothermal and hydroelectric power.
The company’s installed capacity exceeds 9,800 MW, with a range of sources that includes wind, solar, hydroelectric, geothermal and biomass. EGP operates some 740 plants in 15 countries, in Europe, the American continent and Africa.
