Akuo Energy has reduced the total number of wind turbines that will be installed in the 132 MW Granite Hills wind project in Australia.
The developer has initially proposed a total of 32 turbines but reduced the final count to 23. The changes are attributed to the consultations done with the local community and certain environmental factors.
The wind farm will be developed near Nimmitabel in the southern part of New South Wales in Australia. The Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) has considered the projects as a state significant development.
