Development for 132 MW Granite Hills wind project suspended due to COVID

The development of the 132 MW Granite Hills wind farm on Brown Mountain of New South Wales has been suspended due to uncertainty brought by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. 

Akuo Energy, the developer of the project, has released a statement for the future of the project. The notice of the company's decision was sent to the NSW Department of Planning Industry and Environment (DPIE).

Akuo Energy will seek agreement with the relevant authorities should the development of the project be reactivated.
