Energias de Portugal, S.A. (EDP), through its subsidiary EDP Renováveis, S.A. (EDPR), has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with an undisclosed offtaker for the power generated by a 200 MW AC solar photovoltaic project in California, USA.
In addition to the solar farm, the project also includes 150 MW of storage capacity. The solar and battery scheme is anticipated to be operational in 2024.
