NTR fund buys 21.6 MW Murley Wind Farm in County Tyrone

NTR has acquired the 21.6 MW Murley wind farm in Northern Ireland from RES. The project in County Tyrone raises NTR's total capacity to roughly 200 MW over 26 sites.

The Murley project, which will include six turbines, will begin construction this year and be operational in winter 2023. It will generate enough electricity to power more than 20,000 dwellings.

Murley was purchased by NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II, a wind, solar, and energy storage fund that invests in a variety of European markets.
