RED Group seeks permit for 99.9 MW energy storage project in north-east England

UK energy developer RES Group has filed a planning permit to build a 99.9 MW energy storage project in northeast England. 

The Spennymoor energy facility will be constructed near the Spennymoor substation in County Durham. The project seeks to provide grid stability and increase access to low-cost clean energy.
