Sterling and Wilson starts construction of Western Downs Green Power Hub in Queensland

Sterling and Wilson Solar Limited (SWSL) has been commissioned to serve as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor and the operations and maintenance (O&M) for the 400 MW solar project in Queensland’s Western Downs.

The project is expected to generate about 1,080 GWh of electricity annually and will include up to 150 MW battery energy storage potential.

CleanCo Queensland has signed as an off-taker for energy produced in the project.
